Profhilo® Treatment
Offering state-of-the-art anti-ageing technology, Profhilo® works beneath your skin to improve texture, restore firmness and boost hydration.
The treatment involves stimulating the dermal skin cell receptors with a high-concentration hyaluronic acid injectable gel.
The stabilised gel slowly releases its hyaluronic acid, which works to stimulate elastin and collagen production from within. It also targets the superficial layers of your complexion, reducing the appearance of wrinkles while restoring volume to the skin beneath.
This amazing treatment can rebuild sagging tissue and counteract the signs of ageing, making it perfect for the face, hands, neck and décolletage. It can even be used to tighten areas that sag with age such as the knees and abdomen.
Results are long-lasting, and you’ll begin to see a difference after four works from your initial treatment. You need two sessions in total, four weeks apart for optimum results, after that you will need one session every six months to maintain your results.
The procedure is relatively pain-free, with only the minor discomfort of injections. Profhilo® requires no downtime, and any bruising or swelling should subside within a couple of days.

How Does Profhilo Work?
Ultra-pure hyaluronic acid is precisely injected into the area being treated. Unlike wrinkle reducing and dermal filler treatments, Profhilo stimulates collagen and elastin, attracting water in the deeper layers of the skin.
As a stabilised product, the activity on dermal cells will last longer than that of a non-stabilised gel. During this time the stimulation of four different types of collagen and elastin takes place by slow release of hyaluronic acid.
The stimulation results in significant tissue improvement. Therefore we cannot say that Profhilo is a skin booster as it also has a significant tightening / lifting effect on the tissue.
